                              Wednesday, Sept. 12 -- Bend to Sisters -- 29 miles
The first 15 miles were the same as the start of the previous day's Twin Bridges Loop.

We spent the afternoon checking out the town
of Sisters on foot.



The tree was here before the porch.



Relaxing at Sisters Motor Lodge ...
While we soaked in the hot tub,
deer came out to play.
We told the innkeeper how much we enjoyed watching the deer, and she launched into
a rant about what pests the deer are,
digging up gardens
and causing traffic accidents.
Her actual words: "Bambi must die."
