Kazuko borrowed her sister's van again to get our
bikes and us to the airport in Matsuyama. We had a short flight to Tokyo
Haneda, then took a bus to Tokyo Narita, the international airport. We
paid about $32 each to keep our bikes in storage overnight at the airport.
Then we took a bus to the nearby ANA
Hotel Narita, a big Western-style hotel. We didn't get a chance to
see Tokyo proper; we just took a bus to central Narita for an inexpensive
dinner (okonomi-yaki). The next morning after a buffet breakfast
in the hotel came the long plane ride home.
