Seashore west of Fukuoka
We were able to stay off highway 202 for a while, then followed the sidewalk underneath a raised expressway as we headed for the coast. The coastline was pretty but the road shoulder was narrow and demanded concentration. At the beach, windsurfers were taking advantage of the stormy seas.
